Level 1

Home Survey

A basic condition report using traffic-light ratings. Suitable for newer, conventional properties in apparently good order. No repair-cost advice is provided at this level.

The Process

From enquiry to report.

A straightforward, five-step process. You'll know what's happening at every stage — and you'll always deal directly with the surveyor inspecting your property.

    Enquiry

    Get in touch by phone, email or the contact form with the property address and a few brief details. We'll confirm the right level of survey for the building.

    Fixed-fee quotation

    You'll receive a written, fixed-fee quotation and our earliest available inspection dates. No obligation, no chasing.

  3. 03

    Instruction & booking

    Confirm the fee and we'll agree an inspection date with you and the vendor's agent. Terms of engagement are issued in writing.

  4. 04

    On-site inspection

    The surveyor carries out a thorough on-site inspection — fabric, services, grounds — taking measurements, photographs and detailed notes throughout.

  5. 05

    Report delivered

    A clear, plain-English report is issued by email — with defects, advice, and (for Level 3) repair options and indicative costs. We follow up with a call to talk it through.

Fees

Transparent, fixed-fee pricing.

RICS Home Surveys start from £325 for Level 1, £450 for Level 2 and £625 for Level 3. Specialist services are quoted once we understand the scope.
